Pasifika Film Fest is looking for 8 aspiring filmmakers of Pacific heritage to participate in our 48 Hour Film challenge as part of PFF 2018 in Sydney.

The 48 Hour Film Challenge is brought to you in conjunction with Information and Cultural Exchange; and Australian Film Television and Radio School.

The event includes a workshop facilitated by established filmmakers of Pacific heritage which begins on September 12.

Selected filmmakers will come together to brainstorm scripts that centre around a theme (this will be sent to them 24 hours before).

Participants will be asked to create and present a 2 min pitch for a film idea they would like to produce for PFF 2018.

Completed films will be screened as part of PFF 2018 Sydney.

To participate in the challenge, please send through an expression of interest by answering the following questions:

Have you made a film before and what was it about?
What is your Pacific heritage?
What is your experience on a film set?
Why does this filmmaking challenge interest you?

To participate in the challenge, you should be a Pacific filmmaker based in Australia. The challenge itself will take place in Sydney. If you are from interstate you can still apply, however travel and accommodation is at the expense of the applicant.
