Women’s Horror Short Film Grant | Pift Pacific Islanders in Film & TV

February 20, 2017

The NZFC is looking to fund at least one distinctive, edgy and compelling short film to be part of an international horror short film anthology by frighteningly talented women directors.

This is a one-off initiative aimed at providing women filmmakers the opportunity to make their genre short film and potentially have the chance to be part of an innovative cinematic anthology; one that will have stong exposure to the international marketplace and to audiences around the world.

We aim to fund at least one short film as part of this initiative with each film to be made as a stand-alone work.  In addition, we will put the films forward to possibly be included in an Australasian women-led horror anthology.  At our discretion, other applicants may be put forward too.

The application deadline is 9am, Friday 10 March.  Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
